At The Leadworks, we are extremely proud of the work we do and would go as far as to say that this isn’t ‘just’ a business to us or even ‘just’ a job. It is, quite honestly, part of who we are. It’s about quality, craftsmanship and bringing to each project and commission that we take on a deep knowledge and understanding of the buildings we are working on, and the materials we are using, whether that be traditional lead or one of the hard metals we work with.

Each client that we work with knows that when they book The Leadworks they get The Leadworks. We don’t sub-contact projects out – ever. We enjoy being hands on and continuing to build our reputation for quality and craftsmanship so that at the end of each project our clients are so happy with the results that they refer us on. That is how we get most of our business, by referral, and that speaks volumes about the service, care, attention to detail, knowledge and expertise we bring to our clients’ projects.

You may also be interested to know that as well as taking on whole roof projects and commissions we also undertake lead repair work, ornamental lead work (including lead planters), we make lead downpipes and lead hoppers, through to refurbishing lead bays and dormers.

What else can we tell you about The Leadworks? We are CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) accredited and have worked closely with English Heritage for many years, as well as many different architects and private owners. We have long standing relationships with both stone masons and joiners and are happy to offer recommendations to our clients as they require them.
